Over the coming months, I believe we could see an economic meltdown at least six times the size of the 2007 subprime mortgage meltdown.
Circumstances lead me to believe it could play out like the meltdown I experienced in 1998 after Long-Term Capital Management (LTCM) failed.
This time, however, several crucial differences will leave investors and regulators unprepared.
I’ll reveal those differences in just a moment. But first, let me share a little background about why I believe market intelligence confirms the risk of an enormous meltdown.
To understand what market outcome is likely, we start with something we know and extrapolate from it.

Preparing for the last war
In the national defence community, military commanders are known for ‘fighting the last war’. They study their prior failures to prepare for the next conflict. The problem is that each war inevitably involves new tactics, for which they’re completely unprepared.
The most famous case was the backward-looking Maginot Line in the 1930s.
In response to Germany’s rapid advances in the First World War, France built a line of concrete and steel obstacles along their border to buy time to mobilise if Germany tried to invade again.
Hitler made the Maginot Line irrelevant by outflanking it and invading France through neutral Belgium. The French were unprepared. A few weeks later, German forces occupied Paris.
The same mistake happens in banking circles. Financial regulators are no different to military commanders. They fight the last war. The last two global meltdowns, in 1998 and 2008, are cases in point.
In 1998, a financial panic almost destroyed global capital markets. It started in Thailand in June 1997 and then spread to Indonesia and Korea. By the middle of 1998, Russia had defaulted on its debt and its currency collapsed. The resulting liquidity crisis caused massive losses at hedge fund Long-Term Capital Management.
I know about the losses because I was there. As LTCM’s lead counsel, I was at every executive committee meeting during the height of the crisis that August and September.
We were losing hundreds of millions of dollars per day. Total losses over the two-month span were almost US$4 billion. But that wasn’t the most dangerous part.
Our losses were trivial compared to the US$1 trillion of derivatives trades we had on our books with the biggest Wall Street banks.
If LTCM failed, those trillion dollars of trades would not have paid off…and the Wall Street banks would have fallen like dominoes. Global markets would have completely collapsed.
I negotiated a bailout with the leaders of the 14 biggest banks, including Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Citibank. Eventually, we got US$4 billion of new capital from Wall Street…the US Federal Reserve cut interest rates…and the situation stabilised.
But it was a close call — something no one ever wanted to repeat.
It was a valuable lesson for me, because soon after, regulators set out to make hedge fund lending safer. They ordered banks to monitor their hedge fund exposures more closely…improve their legal documentation…and require more collateral to secure the performance on open trades.
Regulators believed this would prevent the next crisis.
But when the panic of 2008 hit, they were surprised that the problems were not in hedge funds, but in something new — subprime mortgages. The mortgage market collapse quickly spun out of control and once again brought global capital markets to the brink of collapse.
After the 2008 debacle, regulators again set out to fight the last war. This is the setup for the crisis I’m forecasting.
They made mortgage lending much safer by requiring larger down payments, better documentation, proof of income, proof of employment and higher credit scores before lenders could make a home loan. But once again, regulators today are fixing the last problem and totally ignoring the next one.

A $14 trillion pile of corporate debt that can’t be repaid
The next financial collapse, already on our radar screen, will not come from hedge funds or home mortgages. It will come from junk bonds, especially energy-related and emerging-market corporate debt.
The Financial Times recently estimated that the total amount of energy-related corporate debt issued from 2009–2014 for exploration and development is over US$5 trillion. Meanwhile, the Bank for International Settlements recently estimated that the total amount of emerging-market dollar-denominated corporate debt is over US$9 trillion.
Energy sector debt has been called into question because of the collapse of oil prices. And emerging market debt has been called into question because of the global growth slowdown, global deflation, and a strong US dollar.
The result is a US$14 trillion pile of corporate debt that cannot possibly be repaid or rolled over under current economic conditions.
Not all of this debt will default, but a lot of it will. Most of the energy related debt was issued on the expectation that oil would remain in the US$80 to US$130 dollar per barrel range.
Most of the emerging market debt was issued with the expectation that the dollar would remain at its weak 2011 levels. Instead, oil is down and the dollar is up — which capsizes these expectations.
The moves have been swift and dramatic. Over the past year, West Texas Intermediate oil has crashed 40%, while the US Dollar Index has risen 21%.
If default rates are only 10% — a conservative assumption — this corporate debt fiasco will be six times larger than the subprime losses in 2007.
The world is looking at a debt catastrophe much larger than LTCM in 1998 and the mortgage market in 2008. Regulators are completely unprepared for this because they have been busy fighting the last war.

Don’t wait for the disaster to happen — prepare now
Here’s the good news for investors: this fiasco will not happen overnight. It will take a year or two to play out.
The panic of September 1998 started a year earlier, in Thailand in June 1997. The panic of September 2008 also started a year earlier, in August 2007, when CNBC commentator Jim Cramer screamed ‘They know nothing!’ on live television, referring to the US Federal Reserve.
This new junk debt fiasco started in mid-2014, but it won’t reach its peak until 2016 or later. Even companies and countries with dim prospects often have enough cash on hand to make payments for a while before they actually default. In the meantime, you can profit.
The bond defaults have not happened yet. But our intelligence triggers are already visible in the form of lower oil prices and the strong US dollar.
In intelligence analysis, we don’t wait for disasters to happen. We look at today’s information, what we call ‘indications and warnings’, and use it to infer the future.
The strong US dollar is deflationary. This means oil prices will likely remain low. This means much of the energy-sector debt cannot be paid off and will default.
The defaults have not happened yet, but you can see them coming. There is still an opportunity for you to profit from the coming collapse in junk bonds, but the time to act is now. Very soon, I’ll explain how you can prepare — in my brand-new investment advisory service, Strategic Intelligence.

By Greg Canavan in Albert Park:
--Gee, it didn’t take long for the government’s budget projections to be exposed as lies, did it? That is, the incredibly hopeful and surplus making growth forecasts designed purely for a bit of reprieve in the polls have just been blown out of the water.
--Yesterday, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released data on actual and projected capital expenditure in the Aussie economy. In short, the data was ugly. Here’s Peter Martin from the SMH.com:

‘Two weeks after the budget, Australia's economic outlook is bleak.
‘Mining as well as non-mining firms are planning to slash investment in the year ahead, cutting total investment spending by 21 per cent.
‘The Bureau of Statistics survey conducted in April and May is at odds with the budget forecast of a lift in non-mining investment.
‘The survey of chief financial officers shows mining firms expect to cut investment 34 per cent, manufacturing firms 24 per cent, and other firms 6.1 per cent.’

--That is a big fall…a recessionary fall. It makes a mockery of the government’s 3.25% economic growth forecast for 2016/17. It will be much, much worse than that.
--Let’s have a look at the capital expenditure stats in detail. This data is extremely important because without business investment, you don’t have job growth. And without job growth you’re not going to see a sustainable increase in consumption — the driver of the modern economy.

--First, I’ll show you the actual capital expenditure figures for the March quarter. In seasonally adjusted terms total capital expenditure fell a large 4.4% in the March quarter. In the year to 31 March, it fell 5.3%.
--For the quarter, mining investment fell 4.1%, manufacturing investment fell a whopping 9.4%, while investment in ‘other selected industries’ fell 4.2%. So much for low interest rates encouraging borrowing and investment.
--While the March quarter figures are bad, it’s only going to get worse. The ABS also released a survey of investment intentions in the year ahead. As pointed out in the quote above, mining, manufacturing and other industries all plan on investing much less in the 2015/16 financial year.
--Then, in the year after that, you can look forward to the exit of the car manufacturing industry and the completion of all the big ticket resource projects. That’s why I think you’ll see some big infrastructure announcements to plug the gaps.
--The great hope of the RBA was that lower interest rates would spur investment in housing large enough to offset the massive decline in mining investment. It was never going to happen. And these figures show it’s not going to happen.
--I’ve been arguing for some time that Australia is in a real mess. I don’t do it for the sport of it. I don’t do it to fear-monger. I do it as a concerned Aussie — concerned about the direction this country is taking and concerned about the utter economic mismanagement we’re subject to.
--I’ve also argued that we won’t get genuine reform until we have a genuine crisis. Well, a genuine crisis is on its way. Whether it hits this year, next year or even the year after that, it’s a moot point.
--What is almost certain is that our economic trajectory is assured. We have a completely inept government (on both sides, I might add) unable to see past their noses and understand the looming problems. Anything they try to do now will just make things worse.
--That is, efforts to improve things over the longer term, via productivity enhancing structural reform, will cause short term pain. Governments have no appetite for that.
--Instead, they’ll go for short term fixes that build and build on the longer term pain we’re going to suffer. A good example is the budget incentives for small business to spend. That’s great in the short term, but what happens after that? Red tape and relatively high tax rates will still impede business formation.

--An Aussie mate of mine lives in London. He is self-employed (by his company) and gets contract work with the big investment banks’ IT departments. The company tax rate in the UK is 20%. In Australia it’s 30%. That’s 50% higher than the UK. Singapore, much closer to home, has a corporate tax rate of just 17%!
--We’re simply not competing on a global scale. We hitched our wagon to China 15 years ago and went for a coffee while everyone else got on with it. We constantly looked at the short term and forgot about the long term. Well, now the long term is bearing down upon us…and still we try to ignore it.
--So expect bigger fiscal deficits and more interest rate cuts to come. Anything to help keep our head in the sand for just a little bit longer — or until the next election.
--But for Australia, the day of reckoning will come. Our net foreign debt levels will go close to hitting $1 trillion this year. While the economy slows and national income growth grinds to a halt, we’re maintaining our standard of living by borrowing more and more.
--In the global search for yield and complete ignorance of risk, our creditors keep lending to us, mainly via the banking sector. The funds then go to the household sector, which bids up the price of housing and clocks the gains up as ‘wealth’.
--But as Greece knows only too well, when you’re a debtor you don’t hold too many cards when the proverbial hits the fan.

--In Australia’s case, if our creditors decide to reassess the risk of ‘buying Australia’, two things will happen. Our dollar will be the first to adjust lower. That’s already happening. But it’s happening too slowly.
--The dollar adjusts lower when the supply of funds coming into Australia doesn’t meet the demand. A lower dollar is the price mechanism to balance the market. It allows foreigners to get more bang for their buck, euro or yen.
--The other adjustment mechanism is market interest rates. A sharply lower dollar will pretty quickly feed through to higher inflation. If the RBA ignores this and keeps cutting interest rates anyway, foreigners might decide to demand higher compensation (higher interest rates) for lending to a country that appears to be losing the plot.
--Loss of faith in a central bank or confidence in a currency means the cost to hedge any cross border investment becomes too great — it no longer compensates for the interest rate on offer. So the creditor asks for a higher interest rate as well.
--When that happens, it’s game over for our highly leveraged economy. That’s probably still a year or so away. In the meantime expect more interest rate cuts.
--That, along with a lower dollar, should prove beneficial for the market. Indeed, the ASX 200 celebrated our impending recession with a near 50 point burst higher at the open this morning.
--But with the real economy now getting much less bang for its buck from lower interest rates, the question is what sector will benefit the most?
--I’m betting on something non-household sector related. Something exposed to a growing global trend. Click here for my special report on the topic.

Many people live as though their lives had no meaning or little real purpose.
We all struggle with that at some time. Are you one who does?
But some knowledge & wisdom can correct that. There is a way!
Life…as it should be! And can be!

This booklet has been written to tell you some things about God, His plan for the world, its past and its future, which is well known, but not by everyone. It is a preparation for getting to know God Himself. Getting to know God is different from getting to know about God. Knowing Him makes all the difference in this life and beyond.

Life as it should be! And can be!

Yes, this is true, for Kings, kids, critics, the clever, the helpless - and for you also! It’s the same old story, told in an old hymn. Here is the first verse.

“Tell me the old, old story of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.
Tell me the story simply, as to a little child,
For I am weak and weary, and helpless and defiled.”

Unseen things?….. of Jesus..?  Why Jesus? Jesus Christ? Why does Jesus matter? What Jesus Christ is most remembered for is for Christmas/Easter and that our calendar is dated around the fact of His birth, despite small variations in dates and changes over the centuries. Everything before His birth was said to be B.C. e.g Socrates was born in 470 B.C. The time dating we now use-A.D., which stands for “Anno Domini” meaning “in the year of our Lord” did not spring up into existence immediately, but some years later. So Jesus Christ is very important – to have the world’s dating system established out of His birth. No one else has that honour.

Apart from His birth changing the dating system, the biggest of all reasons is that God sent His Son to earth! That event is the biggest historical fact ever – so far. There are others, even bigger, to come. Most people do not know this, either because of lack of opportunity or have never been taught at home or school. So read on to know more.

Life as it can be found only out of learning these things as a first step. The second step is getting to know God Himself.

In short, I am going to tell the core history of the world in terms of the importance of Jesus Christ in all of human history. This core history highlights the significant events in the world that form the essence of all world history, leaving aside millions of incidental events, people, times and places.

Explanatory note follows

If you have read this far, then know this!   This is the A.B.C. of life and many people are simply not aware of much of it at all. All they see is what they see – not what and Who underpins all life.

Reading and taking in all that is said here, is your opportunity to expand your view of life, in all its potential beauty – however initially cynical you might be.

Some quiet humility for a while will have you know the truth that needs to be known by all people.   Read and take in, even if you cannot embrace it all right now.   It’s a start.

No attempts is being made here to teach in detail (which takes hundreds of hours) but simply to provide truthful factsAN OVERVIEW OF LIFE

as it was intended by God.

The Essentials of Core World History

Here is a world history of core elements, (leaving aside all the detail) from the birth of Jesus Christ (with flashbacks into some B.C times) to the present and into the future. What you BELIEVE AND DO NOW will affect your preparation for future life. At some point in time, these truths need to be faced. Better now than later – time can run out.

1       Why did Jesus come?

There are over 20 reasons why Jesus came. Four stand out. The first one is that God sent His Son. We are told this in the Bible
“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.” Galatians 4:4-5

The second is that He came to seek and save the lost.

“…for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10

The third one was to give His life as a ransom for our sin. “…just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)

The fourth one is to give you the opportunity to receive eternal life.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17

Notice that God sent Jesus to seek and save everyone, (potentially) to die in our place for the sins of the world and provide eternal life, not just eternity, but for our use and His glory RIGHT NOW IN OUR EVERYDAY LIVES.

2       Why did Jesus Christ have to do all those things and suffer so much?

God’s plan was huge and drastic. It had to work! And it did! His plan was made before the earth was created. It was to be a lifelong test for all mankind. God knew men would sin – sin against his holiness. God cannot cohabit with sin. So Jesus was sent as a special sinless child to grow, teach, and die, not for His sins, but for those of the entire world. Only Jesus was equipped to do that great thing. His inexpressible suffering was needed as He substituted Himself for us, when it was us who deserved the punishment. But we could not pay that debt. Only He could. So the penalty for sin was paid and God maintained His holiness. This requires your deep thought to really appreciate your opportunity out of His love for you.

3       What did Jesus do on the earth – and after?

He was born, grew up, became a carpenter, then at about age 30, as the Son of God, began to teach what God had told Him. He made disciples, then suffered the cross, and rose again after 3 days, again seeing His disciples. After 40 days He ascended back to heaven to be with His Father. When on earth He required all men to repent of their sin and believe in Him. It is still the same. Even at this time, He requires that from all men and women, in order to benefit from His death and resurrection and have life to the full.

4       What did Jesus tell us about our potential relationship with Him?

He told us one incredibly amazing thing – that if we have repented and believed in Him, that we will be in perfect unity with Him, just as He and His Father are in unity. Here is Jesus prayer where He said:

“…those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in One, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

St Paul the Apostle said the same but in a different way. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

These are the most extraordinary statements ever spoken by anyone in all of human history. Carefully reread these until you see how profound and meaningful these words are.

5       What does the Bible say about heaven? What will it be like?

There will be no evil in heaven and there shall be perfect peace. That is not possible on earth.

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

As well as those promises about heaven throughout the Bible, there are also promises that indicate that the earth shall be reconstituted to such a degree it will virtually be back to its original state in the Garden of Eden. This period is called the Millennium.

6       What is the alternative to heaven?

NO – HELL WILL NOT FREEZE OVER. John Benton wrote a book with this title. How can a God of love send people to hell? Is there a hell to which unrepentant sinners go after they die? So, if God is a God of love, as He is supposed to be, how could He send people to such a place? Even though we may not fully understand this idea, or want to stay in our unbelief, there is a simple answer on page 78 of John Benton’s book. This is the answer he gives.

God loves what is right. He will do everything possible to save us, consistent with justice. That is what He has done in Christ. But He will not do anything inconsistent with His justice, because there is something even more terrible than sinners going to hell and that is a God who is no longer committed to justice. Why does not God let us off? Because we are responsible for our sins….To say that God should not punish sin is to ask Him to say that sin does not matter…and that His holiness does not matter.”

As God’s holiness must be maintained He cannot accept sin or unrepentant sinners. Sin and holiness cannot be mixed. HOWEVER, THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL IS THAT WHEN JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS, HE CARRIED OUR SIN AND DIED FOR IT, THUS WE WERE FREED BY THE DEATH & RESURRECTION OF CHRIST. POTENTIALLY WE ARE FREE.

John F. Kennedy wrote: The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.”

C.S Lewis wrote “Indeed the safest road to Hell is the gradual one, the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts…

Bible says in Matthew 25:46

"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

7       How do I know I am guilty in God’s sight?

  1. That is the easist part of this learning. If you have broken any ONE of these Commandments you are guilty in God’s sight. Check yourself out and see. Be honest! You can duck and weave about or lie, but you will find yourself guilty.

The 10 Commandments (in Short Form)

given to Moses by God Himself

  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
  2. You shall not make idols.
  3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
  5. Honour your father and your mother.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
  10. You shall not covet. (what others own)

So what do I do now? (as I am guilty before God)

  • First, just accept the conviction that it is true that you have sinned and deserve God’s punishment. Take time – that may be hard to initially accept.
  • Remember this! Only one man in all of history has not been guilty before God and that is Jesus Christ. His death made our reconciliation to God possible.
  • So by openly owning up to where you stand before God, you are on the first step towards making Jesus Christ, your Saviour. Only He can save you from God’s wrath. MOST OF WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GOD has mean mentioned. GETTING TO KNOW GOD HIMSELF IS NORMALLY A LATER MOST IMPORTANT STEP.
  • What you need to do is to read all this material until you really understand what it is all about and the decisions and new pathway you face.
    • History of Israel and Jewish people
    • History from 100 A.D. to 2000 A.D
    • History 2000 A.D to 2014
    • World population has increased from 3 billion in 1970 to 7 billion in 2014
    • The world continues to teeter on the brink of financial disaster. A total crash seems inevitable.
    • Famines, droughts, dramatic weather patterns, wars and earthquakes have increased, bringing misery to over 2 billion people.
    • Moral behaviours in the world are at their worst ever. Dr Billy Graham, the evangelist, said that if God does not judge America, He is going to have to apologize to Sodom and Gommorrah. (God wiped them out because of their sin)
    • Extreme evil, social behaviours, rebellions, strife and persecution have swept the globe – as the Bible said it would in these days.
    • New words, ideas and organizations have come into being. New World Order, Agenda 21, Illuminati, Shadow Governments, The United Nations, and The Federal Reserve Bank of U.S.A., among others. There has also been increased awareness in Biblical matters relating to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the times preceding His Coming. These influence are being played out silently by powerful forces in the world, mostly unseen, although partly discernable to those with a particular knowledge and wisdom. Eventually, God will unleash His power and finally, after the Battle or Armageddon, will establish His reign over the whole

To put all this in context, read these short histories.

Before we can move into the future and what we know is going to happen, here is some background you need to know, in order to understand current and future events and the times in which we live.

8       The History of Israel and the Jewish people

The Old Testament is the history of the Jewish people, (and much of secular history) and shows how God taught them, through His guidance and corrections. As most people know there are two parts to the Bible, the Old Testament written between 1500 B.C. and 400 B.C. However, its history extends back to around 4000 B.C. through their Oral tradition. Then there is the New Testament written from about 40 A.D. to 96 A.D. So how does the history of the Jewish people and the Old Testament fit with Christianity and the New Testament? How did this all happen?

In the 4000 years of Biblical history before the birth of Jesus Christ, all of Jewish history occurred to set the stage for the arrival of Christ. After creation, Adam and Eve's family grew and extended over 9 generations to the time of Noah, whose time was a watershed in Biblical history. Adam's family before Noah had a great variety of characters, all intended by God towards teaching us about God’s character and ways, that are still useful in our day. At that time of human history man commonly lived for several hundred years. Every Jewish person is very special in God's sight and in ours. The Bible tells us often that the Jewish people were made as His people, their history being based in Moses and Abraham. All Jews know that. And they too are waiting for the Messiah. As Jewish brother in Abraham know, He is coming back. Jesus Christ Himself was a Jew, with a perfect lineage that goes back through King David. Christians owe so much to their Jewish brothers. Some Jewish people who, in reading these things may have found out more, more than their incredible knowledge of the Old Testament tells. We don't understand why it was that the Jews in the days of Christ, did not recognize Him for who He was; their Messiah. But it was God's way of having history go according to His plan. We know from the scriptures, even in the Old Testament that in the coming tribulation period, the Jewish people will suffer much, as they have often done in earlier history. That remains a mystery of God, who will reveal all things in His good time. He is your Messiah to be - He is coming. So learn and be prepared.

9       What has happened in the last 1900 years? From 100 A.D till 2000 A.D.

All of the above events happened prior to 100 A.D.The secular and Biblical history of the world since that time of Christ has shown the world’s people their need of God. The good and great events in history have been punctuated by every evil imagainable. Unrest and wars between countries has been more or less continuous, topped off by two world wars in the 20th century. Dictators from all cultures, race, country and methods, old and modern, have murdered millions either in mass or in slow deliberation. An observer in space would have wonderd what manner of peoples we are. Through dark ages and middle ages, the injustices of humankind, must have overflowed God’s sin bin many times over.

Yet there have been times of enlightenment and increases in knowledge, not only of the universe of which the world is a part, but also in the world itself. Researh into the human condition have brought survival and health issues to the fore and in our continuing world unrest, we have more intellectual and scientific knowledge than ever before. The church as it was then, stumbled around helplessly, despite its attempts to bring a better life. Political efforts around the world reminds one of the oceans, some times quiet and other times crashing down on people’s efforts to live and sometimes bringing death as they fought against their oppressors, political or otherwise.

Religious stirrings by Martin Luther and many others, began to rock the world with their godly truth, truth that could not honestly be denied, bringing about reformation. However, there was little unity in any of this and spiritual gaps widened. But people like Wesley and Moody, among many other, opened the eyes of some and God’s remnant continued, although the efforts of man alone without God were counterproductive to humankind. Although man’s distrust of his brother continued and wars became larger or more frequent, using the technologies of modern man, good for fellowman was still on the mind of most. In our era, Dr Billy Graham was one who spoke a true godly word. However, despite all, many did not listen, but only continued in their own evil desires, with their raping, pillaging and murder on a continuous and grand scale. Society has become more conditioned to this way of life.

The place of God in the mind of people was shattered after World War 2 and people lost their way. During this 20th century the degree of commercialization and prosperity killed off any hope that modern man could contain his composure, even in the light of godly truth. The moral degredation of society exploded in untold evil. Although many still could tell you the difference between right and wrong, they were unable to sustain it in practice. Mankind wondered why. So did God! And so we entered a new millennium in a fragile state, with tensions in every direction, from the top to the bottem of society. Worse was to come, amidst the promises that things would change for the good.

10     What has happened in the last 14 years, as we now enter 2015?

After World War 2 and particularly since the 1960’s there have been dramatic changes in the world, its population, culture, finances, politics, and morals. In addition there are other factors that compound the basic problems of life. These include, war, famine, drought, flood, natural disasters, authoritarian social and political systems, all resulting in troubled lives, such as is found in domestic strife and rebellion. These bring even greater suffering, persecution and even death. Many physical bodies are malnourished and their souls, mind and spirits depressed, because of not knowing the true God. Despite technological advances the good life has not arrived. Major changes are:

11     Here comes the future! We know by looking at current events & connecting them to The Bible.

Here is a road map of the future from the Bible. We know it is true, because there are only about 500 Bible predictions out of the oringal 3500 that have not yet eventuated. First, this graphic is not here for you to understannd right now. It is here so that you can see known periods of times past and times future. It is not necessary at this stage to know other details. We are now near the end of the Church age – in red. Notice that a Tribulation period begins just after the end of the Church age, along with the rapture at some point when God decides. The Battle of Armageddon takes place after the Tribulation. The Millennial period begins soon after the Tribulation period, followed by a period that never ends – Eternity. The graphic on the left side does not include all of history, which goes back to about 4000 B.C. The graphic is to have you realize we do know all time periods before and after Christ’s birth.

Summary – More details are available at www.FullnessOfLifeInChrist.com

First, an apology. Please understand that this has been written in great brevity. However, the essential core story has been told. To try to teach everything at first glance, would not only bore you, but you may not be able to keep up with the main storyline and get lost, stopping out of frustration. So brief is better – for this first stage. More is available by asking. Here is what we have been saying.

  • The purpose of this writing was to give you an overview of all you need to know.
  • You will gain the most from it all by setting aside your own ideas and adopting these for a trial period.
  • A better world and a better life is possible for all people – far better than we now experience.
  • God did create the world and universe. He also created man – that is provable in longer studies.
  • Jesus Christ was born for a specific purpose that no one else could have achieved what was intended for Him alone.
  • Jesus birth is so important that our our calendar is set around His birth date.
  • Jesus came to earth because God sent Him.
  • This writing is about getting to know ABOUT God – not getting to KNOW Him – that can come later – your choice.
  • During His life, Jesus did many things, including specific teaching about how to live as He did – by the power of the Holy Spirit. This was and is a personal offer to all where Jesus told how to achieve eternal life NOW and heaven LATER. His way – not ours.
  • We also revealed why we need God. We decide for ourselves, based on the evidence He provides.
  • We then wrote briefly about all of history. Before Christ, B.C. and A.D. right up to the present time.
  • We then introduced our thoughts about the known future (by the connecting of current events with the Bible) including world groups that threaten our current world. All of these were and are known about by God, who has plans to deal with them and finish them off, through Jesus Christ, at the Battle or Armageddon.
  • God also has safe, peaceful and wonderful plans for those who have decided to follow Him.
  • Everyone needs to know all these things, so they can take responsibility for their own lives, to gain the life that God has for them.

Flashbacks!         Important Old Testament flashacks from the Bible

Many people know bits and pieces of the Bible that have appeared in popular culture and media – and get wrong ideas or opinions about some of these. God’s creation of the world is one of those, and Noah’s Ark and the world wide flood is the other. So, in case you are one of these people who are curious, then here are some simple explanations of these two events.

They are provided them lest these issues tend to block you from the truths given above.

Flashback 1   God’s first actions to cleanse the world and it’s people – World Wide Flood – 2319 BC to 2318 B.C.

The world was so evil at this time, that God decided to wipe out all the world and its peoples, except for Noah and his family. (8 people in all) Noah of course was another special man chosen by God to build an ark to save the human race. At that time, God was quite disgusted with the human race and their sinful behaviour, so he asked Noah and his three sons (and their wives) to build an ark, supplying to him the exact shape and size that the ark should be built.

It took 120 years for the ark to be built. After the world wide flood which destroyed all men and land animals (2319 B.C.), Noah re-established a new human colony beginning on Mr Ararat in Turkey, where the ark came to rest as the flood subsided. Noah himself lived to be 950 years old. His three sons, Japeth, Shem and Ham went and established themselves in three different directions from Mt Ararat. Shem's offspring was, over many generations to result in the birth of Abraham.

Contrary to some media reports, the remains of Noah’s ark are still visible from space and have been visited by many explorers. The Biblical description fits with the evidence of the ark itself. e.g. The wood type is Gopher.

Flashback 2  You don't believe that God created the world?     Consider this - God was the creator of the world and everything in it.

This modern world has done all it can to remove simple belief in the word of God. The world’s media bombards us with all manner of information which are man’s wisdom and ideas rather than God’s. Creation is one of those areas of the Bible which can be difficult to accept. It is also one where the world's ideas are seductive and can influence us away from truth. So we not only need to know that God is the Author of the Bible, but that His record of creation is true. Here are some seemingly tiny pieces of information that you may not know about. They concern the creation of the earth and the stars that God knew about before man discovered them.

1. God’s knowledge of the stars

When God was speaking to Job (in 1967 B.B.) about His power, He said to Job: (Job 38:31) "Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orion? What is special about this verse? God named the stars and knows them by name. Notice that He said that Pleiades was bound. This means that the group of stars known as the Pleiades group were bound together in formation and that formation never changes. Scientists call it a bound cluster. Orion however, was formed as a loose cluster. Scientists have discovered in the last 40 years that the Pleiades group of stars are held together by an unknown force so that they will never separate. Also that as time passes the Orion group will gradually separate as they move through space. Eventually they will not be a group at all. How did Job know that? Remember that Job wrote these words because God instructed him to do so. Did he understand what he wrote? Probably not! But God knew it all because He created them. There is no doubt that God had the Bible written through His Spirit. No one else would have the knowledge to do so!

2. God’s knowledge of the planet earth. The earth is a circle (sphere) Isaiah 40:22

(Isaiah 40:21-22 NIV) Do you not know? .....Have you not understood since the earth was founded? He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, ...... He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

It now seems strange to us that at one time people thought the earth was flat and that if you kept going to the horizon you would drop over the edge. Copernicus in 1512 A.D. informed us that the earth was round, and Columbus in 1492 A.D. proved the same point by sailing across the Atlantic ocean.

This was only 500 years ago. Isaiah wrote these verses 7 centuries before Christ, nearly 2700 years ago. How did Isaiah know what to write? God told him. How did God know the earth was round before Copernicus told us. He created the earth and everything in it!

So these are just examples of God knowing about these things because He was involved in creation.

What to next? Feel free to do whavever you choose!
